Hard Fire Suppression Systems life safety team hosted a Fire Industry Training (FIT) day for building and plant maintenance professionals at our central Ohio location on Monday, May 2, 2022.
We partnered with the following companies:
- Industrial Sales Company – provided fire pumps and a controls video and demonstration
- Reliable Sprinkler – provided a valve demonstration trailer
- Mueller Fire Hydrants – sent their cut-away hydrant
- Buckeye Fire Equipment – supplied fire extinguishers
Hard Fire team members also provided presentations throughout the day.
This training is for end user plant and building maintenance crews to help them understand code mandated “owner” responsibilities and their role for life safety in their workplace. We had three rotating 1.5-hour sessions to keep session size small and interactive. We also provided a tailgate-style lunch and refreshments.
